I find myself slightly adjusting my style of editing for each wedding. For example, if you have a lot bold colors at your wedding, I like to embrace them and tend to use higher contrast and vibrance. When the colors are lighter or more pastel-y, my editing tends to reflect a more airy and ethereal vibe. Every bride & groom’s style is different, therefore I tend to want to reflect their style through my images the best I can. While still maintaining my style at the same time, of course;) Just a thought I wanted to share:)
Speaking of different couple’s styles, I absolutely adore Ryan & Carol’s. When I asked Carol what her color scheme was going to be, she was like, “Eh, we’re not really having one.” Which was awesome. An array of flowers, suit & dress colors, and mismatched pendants went together beautifully, even though nothing really went together. Who says things have to be the same colors or patterns to match? The backyard wedding at Carol’s parents’ home looked perfect, and the gorgeous and intimate setting was a dream for me to be able to photograph. And that’s not even mentioning how beautiful this couple is..
