My church, Soma, recently planted a new location in downtown Indianapolis. (Its original one is located in Broad Ripple.) The growth has been incredible (already increasing to two services at the new location in the first five months), but this also causes our overall body to be split in half at different locations weekly. A couple weeks ago we had an all-congregational service at the Madame Walker Theatre in downtown Indy, where the bands united into one, the pastors took turns speaking, and the Broad Ripple & Downtown congregations were blended. They addressed racial reconciliation in our city & how Soma wants to be a part of the change we see in Indianapolis.

With Soma’s growth, a “story team” is now being assembled to help capture & share stories of what is happening here. So here is my first assignment for Soma of capturing our all-congregational meeting!
