Peter and I took an incredible trip to Alaska this summer. We stayed at the coolest place in Seward– Shearwater Cove. They picked us up from the dock, and the only way to access the location was via boat. So we boated about 10 miles across the water, then arrived at our yurt in this hidden little cove. We each were given a kayak and full access to the area, where we could hike, kayak and explore whenever and wherever we wanted. Our yurt was next to a babbling brook– the only thing we could hear as we went to sleep. It was simultaneously a peaceful and active vacation all in one.

We started the drive up to Denali, and obviously made Peter stop (this is literally the most beautiful rest stop I’ve ever seen) and do a quick photo shoot of me, ha;)

THE COOLEST thing I’ve ever done. We took a helicopter up to the Denali tundra and hiked around with an extremely knowledgable guide for 3 hours– teaching us about the animals, plants and climate of the area. Not another soul in sight for miles and miles.
