Jon & Jessica [Indianapolis]

I’m so excited to share these photos of this beautiful couple. The locations don’t get much better either. We began photos for the day in the JW Marriott then we were off to the Indianapolis Zoo for the ceremony & reception! However, my perfect record of it never raining us out at a wedding has finally been tarnished. I think I had started bragging too much about never photographing a wedding that had gotten rained out that I jinxed myself as being a good luck charm;) Fortunately this group was awesome about the rain, and we still were able to shoot a ton outdoors in the zoo’s gorgeous gardens under umbrellas, awnings and in the greenhouse. Unfortunately, the outdoor ceremony was moved indoors to the reception venue due to the rain. But fortunately again, how much cooler of a location can you get for your wedding ceremony than in the zoo’s Dolphin Dome??

Well, my streak is no more, and it has since rained me out again at another wedding, but I’d say 70+ weddings without rain dampening plans too much is not so bad:)
