The Scaff Family [Carmel, IN]

The rain has been making things quite complicated for me and my clients lately! I’ve had to reschedule a number of shoots lately because of the weather, but the worst happened with the Scaff family when mid-session the skies opened up and just starting POURING on us. It didn’t start out as a sprinkle so we could prepare and get out the umbrellas, but just suddenly felt like we were caught in a hurricane. We took shelter at a nearby restaurant, and it cleared up in about 15 minutes, but at that point, Kara’s hair had been compromised, so we decided to finish the session at a later date;) So this family & maternity session was broken up into two mini-sessions:)

Right after these shots, the downpour came! After hiding out for awhile, we had to go jump in some puddles;)
